This page will provide you with pictures and info ETD's front timing belt tensioner for Honda B and H series motors.

B-Series fits all B series engines (B16 B18 B20 All variations)
H-Series fits all H series engines from preludes of all years. Will work with H series swaps in Civic/Integra as well.

Some general info you need to know.
1) Will not work with Power Steering - You don't want it anyway
2) Will work with the stock timing belt cover, however you will need to do some trimming
3) Works Kevlar belt or OEM belt

Step 1)
Open your package and ensure you have all 12 parts:
2 Aluminum Brackets
1 Black Pulley
1 Pulley Spacer
1 Square Pulley Bolt
6 Alan head bolts (3 different sizes)
1 Set screw (you remove this after install is finished)
Step 2)
Put the brackets together.  Use all three screws to hold them together, do not over tighten as it's aluminum.  Use of a thread locker is ok.

Step 3)
Put the pulley spacer against the back of the bearing (side where you see the whole bearing) with the small side of the spacer on the bearing.

Step 4)
Put the square bolt in the slider area of the bracket and put it against the spacer

Step 5)
Put the longest alan bolt through the front of the pulley and lightly tighten it up but leave it loose enough so that it will slide

Step 6)
Same just another pic.

Step 7)
Screw in the set screw so its up against the square bolt.  If your unit looks like this your set.

Step 8)
This is where you will be installing it

Step9)
Use the last two remaining screws to tighten the bracket to your block with the pulley facing the timing belt, obviously.  Tighten it down, don't strip it and use of thread locker here is also ok.

Step 10)
Tighten in the set screw so the pulley is snug against the belt.  It will be set properly when you notice it taking up the slack.  You need only take up a small amount of slack, too much tension will not help and cause wear on the belt or pulley.

Step 11)
Finally tighten down the pulley now that it's in the correct position. Remember you left this bolt loose during the assembly process.

Step 12)
Here is how it should look now.  Notice the pulley only pressing slightly on the belt.  This is all you need.

Step 13)  Another pic.  REMEMBER TO REMOVE THE SET SCREW (still shown in this pic) as it will eventually fall out!  Once you tighten down the pulley it's not needed, but keep it for future if you need to re-tension the belt.
